While the full campsite closes for the winter, a reduced area remains open for just $10 per person, per night. Children under 10 stay free, making it a great option for family ski adventures.
Freedom Camping is not permitted, and the campsite is monitored regularly to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.
Payment is made through our honesty box located at the toilet block.
Arrive and leave as it suits you—there are no set check-in or check-out times.
There is no camp office on-site during winter. Feel free to choose your own spot from Sites 1 to 10. Refer to the camp map for guidance and keep the wet ground and other campers in mind when setting up your camper.
There are no rubbish bins on-site, so please take all your waste with you. Recycling facilities are available in Methven for your convenience.
No showers are available during the winter months, but toilets are provided.
This is a non-powered campsite, so plan accordingly for your stay.
Dogs are welcome but must always be on a lead, as the campsite is a public space. No cats are allowed.
Looking Ahead: Summer camping will reopen in October 2025—we can't wait to welcome you back when the warmer weather rolls in!
